Kids'n'Udders Haven May - "May"
|
DOB: 4/05/2013
Pattern: solid chocolate brown with amber eyes May is the herd queen here at the farm. She's a calm, pleasant old-style doe with a lot of Buttin'Heads in her pedigree. She is a great producer - getting close to two quarts of milk a day on her second freshening - and she is a very easy goat to hand milk. She has a beautiful udder with great teat size. May is double registered in the ADGA and the NDGA. May's 5 generation Pedigree can be viewed through this link: KIDS'N'UDDERS HAVEN MAY 2015: 1 Buckling

DOB: 4/05/2013 Pattern: Chocolate brown, white spots w/ amber eyes Rose is May's twin sister! She is always a favorite of shire-visitors with her sweet baby face and pleasant personality. She rivals her sister in milk production, and she has some beautiful kids! She's a petite doe with a long body and level topline. Her udder is well attached with decent teat size. Rose's pedigree can be viewed through this link: KIDS'N'UDDERS HAVEN ROSE 2015: 2 Bucklings

Legacy's MS Venus - "Pearl"
|
DOB: 5/17/2013 Pattern: Cou Clair For the 2017 breeding season, Shire Ridge Farm welcomes Legacy's MS Venus! She's a direct cross of Old Mountain Farm and Rosasharn lines, and she's still in milk from when she kidded over a year ago! I'm really excited to see what this girl brings to the table. Curiously enough, the Herd Queen, May, accepted Pearl into the group with out an exchange of a single head-butt! LEGACY'S MS VENUS 201?: 1 Buckling

AGHF Cookies & Cream Felicia - "Lacey"
|
DOB: 2/28/2013
Pattern: Chocolate Barbari (Dalmation) w/ Blue Eyes Lacey is a beautiful doe, possibly my favorite conformationally. She's an easy keeper and an attentive mom, with a very pretty udder with great attachment and teat placement. Fun fact: Lacey's dam was line bred on Woodhaven Farm Cowboy Cadilak - the sire of the very first Nigerian Dwarf national junior champion! AGHF COOKIES AND CREAM FELICIA AGS CERTIFICATE 2014: ???
2015: 3 Bucklings 2016: 2 Doelings 2017: 1 Doeling, 2 Bucklings 2018: 1 Doeling, 2 Bucklings 2019: 2 Doelings, 2 Bucklings |

Nantucks Pride Sassy-Q - "Goldie"
|
DOB: 3/21/2013 Pattern: Gold, white roan, with amber eyes This little goat goes by Goldilocks here at the farm. She has such a cute face, a pretty yellow color, and a loveable personality - whether you're saying 'hello' or giving her a dose of dewormer, she always appreciates a hug! She has a well attached, capacious udder - she raised quadruplets all on her own for her second freshening! She is ADGA registered. Goldie's pedigree can be viewed through this link: NANTUCKS PRIDE SASSY-Q 2015: 1 Buckling

Nantuck's Pride Ava - "Ava"
|
DOB: 3/19/2013 Pattern: Chocolate Sundgau with amber eyes Ava has such a sweet personality, and an absolutely beautiful mammary system. Her kids will have real potential to be show competitors. She is a lover, not a fighter! Ava is a petite doe - she puts everything into growing her babies and producing milk. She's gained a healthy weight since she arrived a year ago and she's found her place in the herd. Shire Ridge Belleflower - "Belle"
|
DOB: 5/10/2016 Pattern: Dark Barbari with blue eyes Belle is the daughter of Pippin and Lacey! She is spunky and playful, with a gorgeous coat and pretty blue eyes. She is AGS and ADGA registered. Belle received first place (Grand Champion) at the Marshal County Fair in July 2016! Belle's ADGA Pedigree 2018: 2 Doelings 2019: 2 Bucklings |
Shire Ridge Jade - "Jade"
|
DOB: 5/23/2016 Pattern: Buckskin with white spots and amber eyes Jade is the daughter of Pippin and Ava! I was only going to keep one doe kid from this year, but as soon as I saw Jade I knew I couldn't let her go. She is ADGA registered. Jade received 3rd place at the Marshal County Fair in July 2016! Jade's ADGA Pedigree 2018: 2 Bucklings 2019: 2 Bucklings |
Shire Ridge June - "June"
Pattern: Chocolate with white poll, blue eyes and wattles. Polled.
May is not the most technically perfect doe here on the farm but she's earned her place as my favorite milker, so when she had a polled daughter I had to keep her. June is the herd princess and a bit of a spoiled brat, but she fooled around and got bred out of season and now I know she's carrying on everything I wanted from her mother and then some. ADGA registered.
2019: 1 Doeling, 1 Buckling

Shire Ridge White Aster - "Aster"
Pattern: White with black and brown spots, blue eyes and wattles.
If Belle or Jade had a doe in their first freshening, I was absolutely keeping one. Jade has yet to deliver anything but bucklings, but Belle gave me two girls to pick from. Wasn't an easy decision, but Aster won out in the end. Hope to see some kids from her someday soon! ADGA registered.
